I love cats. I’ve never owned a cat before because my parents prefer dogs to cats, but I’ve never had a dog either😵💫 (My father does keep two parrots tho, maybe they just don’t want to keep medium sized pet at home?)
Anyway, since I can’t have a cat as a pet, there’s this amazing place for people like me to play with cats. It’s called a cat café.
I haven’t been to too many cat cafes, only two. One near my home back in Tainan, and one near school.
貓毛珈琲Niau-á Mn̂g Ka-Pi
I have been here twice. The beverages and desserts are delicious, but the cats are a little bit cold. They don’t really get close to people. But for people who are pleased just to be in a room full of cats, it was more than enough. Here’s some pictures from my last visit.
Cafe Racer 咖啡騎士
At first, I was reluctant to introduce this cafe in this journal, for I don’t want too many people to know my secret place. But at the end of the day I choose not to gate-keep and share this place with you because this cafe deserves so much more recognition. The drinks and desserts are amazing, and the cats like to be near people as well. Although there are only two cats, but one of them climbs up to your tables and sometimes on the chair to sit with you! How great is that?
