This summer I joined the preparation of the summer camp organized by Tainan Club in CCU. I worked as one of the two assistants to each group of the freshmen.  During the preparation, it was very challenging since we have to work with people we might not know very well. Take my partner for example, I had't even talked to him before the camp and then we had to spend lots of time together so that we can get things done. There were also some quarrels happened due to concept differences. But that wasn't the only thing that made preparing for the camp so painful. A friend of mine was the leader of our group, and he did thing the hard way. Although we are very close and I know he was just trying to make the whole event better, being yelled at by him was still not a good experience. It kinda hurt my feelings thinking it didn't have to be that way. But despite the unpleasant memory, I saw a bunch of enthusiastic people working hard so that they can give the freshmen three unforgettable days as well as for us not to leave any regret. So let's talk about the fun part of the pre-camp. Firstly, we got to play the games which were for the freshmen to test out if it was fun and appropriate. In all the games I especially adore the ones including water splashing. It was fun and it can really cool us down in such a hot weather.

Enough about the pre-camp, it's time for the formal camp. On the first day we were playing RPG, it's a type of game that we would need to talk to multiple people and solve each of their requests. But because it was the first day of the camp, us sophomores needed to acquaint ourselves with everyone and also try to get them to know each other. It was a bit hard to figure what kind of attitude we use when facing the freshmen. But at the end of the day, I think we all did pretty great. Thanks to some freshmen who were very extroverted and humorous, I had a great evening.

The second day we went to the amusement park, which is one of my favorite place on earth. I was very excited for an obvious reason. But my partner overslept that morning, which means I had to handle the situation, greeting and gathering our group members and also checking our breakfasts, all by myself. It was a disaster and I probably will never forgive him for that. Also it was raining cats and dogs that day. It would be slightly better if it just kept raining the entire day but it didn't. It rained on and off so we had to kept going out to see if we could go by original plan and then went back into the building after we had played like one facility. But the best thing about the amusement park is that just being in one can make you feel the fun, at least for me it is like that. I am 50 percent sure it was like that for my group members based on the smile on their faces and they were all a little more loose at night when we had a BBQ. A guy I thought was an introvert the first day became so talkative it surprised me and I had so much fun chatting and eating with them.

The first game of the third day was hosted by my partner and I and other two assistants. I'll skip the process of the game but some freshmen in my group said that it was quite interesting so I was satisfied. After that came along the evening party.

Moving on to the evening party where we performed what we had been practicing for months. Unfortunately I do not have the pictures of the party so I cannot post it here, but I had a really awesome evening. Everyone's laughing and screaming, not to mention the party time section where some sophomores are on a stage car playing loud music and calling freshmen to go up stage dancing with them. It was crazy. Everyone was crazy.

Like I said, despite all the disagreeableness, all that I can recall were the greatest experiences with my greatest friends. No thanks to my partner though.
